FIU Weather

Florida International University currently operates 2 weather stations. These provide basic information such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature and precipitation amounts. The data is presented for informational purposes only. Any weather information needed to carry out important tasks should be obtained from the National Weather Service.

The current weather conditions can be viewed by visiting "Weather Underground" at and searching for the two main campuses by zipcode (33199 for the Modesto Maidique Campus and 33181 for the Biscayne Bay Campus). Florida International University (FIU) is not commercially affiliated with the Weather Underground. Therefore, FIU does not endorse Weather Underground nor does it endorse Weather Underground's views. FIU only provides weather station data to Weather Underground so that users may receive the data more conveniently.
